LA’s Villain Park is at it again! Just this week they’ve dropped a brand new video for their tune “Brain Cells” and let me tell you, it’s pretty dope. Zay starts the addictive new song with saying “Relax and take notes..” as each member then takes turns destroying the mic. Channeling the energetic vibes and rawness of the best 90’s hip hop, VP brings a fresh new spin on today’s hip hop. “Brain Cells” is an incredibly vibey and nostalgic tune that showcases each member’s individual style and impressive rhythmic flow. Background: The California bred group composed of Smokey V, Classicko, Niftee, & kilaM all grew up together on the streets of West LA. Though they are still new to the scene they have already made some impact throughout the year at local underground shows like Bananas in Leimert Park, sold out shows at The Roxy in Los Angeles, The Glass House in Pomona, & a grip of others. They’re currently wrapping up their first recording project titled “Same Ol Shit” EP and plan to announce the release date later this year.
