The Shrine in Japan – PART V
The last couple days in Japan were a complete whirlwind of maniacal shows, delicious food, wonderfully insane people, and legendary bars. We’ve been home for a couple days now, and we’re still adjusting to life back on planet earth as we know it.
The Shrine shred Felem Town, Ibaraki.
Ibaraki rain couldn’t stop the rawk.
Tsuyoshi and his new t-shirt.
Japanese pickles, chorizo, and “authentic” Italian pizza from Napoli’s – the meal that understandably killed The Shrine.
The beginning of the end.
RIP.
Here, the owner poses with his custom-built Marshall stacks wall/the gates of heaven.
Dudes look good as angels surrounded by flyers for all the dream shows me missed.
Tsuyoshi’s Felem Skates beer “Front Side Grind” listed here at #7 on their mostly-home-brew list.
On behalf of The Shrine (and myself), a giant sloppy THANK YOU to everyone that helped us make it through Japan, including Obey, and all the wonderful weirdos we met along the way. Couldn’t be more grateful for the experience.
