PDFW: SLOW CULTURE OPENING

Friday Night was the opening for PDFW and it was a wild one. Here’s a little back story about the show that we co-sponsored with the good dudes from Slow Culture.

PDFW marks a new phase for the secret international art club that is DFW. With less focus on sponge painting and scratch-n-sniff sticker books, the group will be presenting works of performance, drawing, film and writing. The show will include pieces from members Ara Peterson, Rose Luardo, Isaac Lin, Ivete Lucas, Patrick Bresnan, Jessica Ciocci, Jacob Ciocci, Lily Quan, Dan Murphy, Ben Jones, Ken Kagami, Emilia Brintnall, Jesse Geller and Andrew Jefferey Wright.

The DFW group was formed some years ago in Pittsburgh, PA while installing an art show at the Carnegie International.

Special for this exhibition, no longer satisfied with photocopy machine quality zines, the DFW ZINE CONTINGENT are creating a Risograph printed zine, enamel pin, and limited edition shirt.
