Necessities: A Group Show Dedicated to Food + Women opens at Backside on Sunset Blvd in lovely Echo Park this Friday, December 2nd,.

The art exhibit features new works by Benjie Escobar, Suedehead, Sprfkr, Nick Lu, Farah Anne Siozon, PJ Richardson, Vernon Easingwood, Ducky, C.Ann, and 1909.

Doors open at 7pm, and the event includes DJ sets by Lil’ Mike and David Dyer, as well as specialty cupcakes by little sweeties cupcakes, pizza by two boots pizza, drinks from flying dog brewery, custom made piñatas, and limited edition merchandise from the artists.
