OBEY Men’s Holiday 2015 collection continues to remain consistent in both our innovative product and strong yet diverse messaging, while reminding its audience of the classic roots and injections of iconic pieces that still serve an ongoing play in OBEY and fashion today. OBEY Clothing Creative Director and lead designer, Mike Ternosky, applies this concept as “Post Streetwear” in defining the future of street fashion as going back to the basics. Implementing heritage inspirations of utilitarian style, this season mixes in new technical elements to military and workwear. While our culture is being heavily influenced through digital media, OBEY looks to pull from the lexicon of analog sources, from zines to print and so on; always having been a mainstay to OBEY and founder, Shepard Fairey. The Holiday 2015 collection reminds its audience that its inspiration comes from a DIY culture, and not fabricated from digital elements.
