Emotional textures and colors were seen on each piece of wood, subtle and highly detailed brushed strokes blended in the beautiful Female bodies and waves of hair. I have been following Audrey Kawasaki and her art for a few years now, her prints and originals have a huge following, along with loyal fans even getting her characters as Tattoos. The faces of her pieces always drew me to her work, a mixture of Manga and Fine-Art is what I can personally best describe it. Audrey’s current work is now seen through huge commissioned murals around America. Below are photos I took while visiting her solo show “Interlude” at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City.
