His name is MCA

Sad news this morning to hear about the death of Beastie Boy MCA. Just last night I saw Mike D talking to none other than Rick Ruben over at the MOCA and had heard rumors that MCA was not doing well. The Beastie Boys were such a huge influence in their music and style. I remember my neighbor giving my brother and I a copy of License To Ill and how that changed our lives. Actually it blew our minds. MCA and Beastie Boys were originators in every sense of the word. We’ll miss you MCA.
