With roots in music and community, and to mark our one-year anniversary in Paris, it only made sense for us to build on last year’s Fête de la Musique celebration.Every year on June 21, France comes alive for Fête de la Musique—a national day that transforms streets and public spaces into open stages, inviting everyone to share and enjoy music together.We’ve put together a big lineup, so come join us for a day of free shows in front of our Paris store.Izzy Lindqwister, a Swedish expat musician and DJ based in Paris, will open the night with her signature reggae and dub selections. Brian Nasty is a multidisciplinary artist from London whose work flows effortlessly between music, visual art, and subculture. As a musician, illustrator, photographer, skater, model, and amateur chess player, Brian creates a vibrant universe where sound and style collide.Gabriel 1999 is a creative force; filmmaker, photographer, and DJ—whose eclectic taste will set the tone for an unpredictable, high-energy set.Debby Friday, the Nigerian-Canadian electronic musician, will perform live. Her work blurs boundaries between love, power, sex, and taste, treating them as portals to explore discomfort and liberation through sound.1800BOOTY (Jonas Alexander  + TSIP) feat Banklady Founded in 2023 by Tsipora (TSIP) and Jonas (JONAS ALEXANDER), 1-800-BOOTY are fusional nightlife events that combine live acts with performance and DJ sets where freedom of artistic expression and freedom of genre are keywords.Musically, 1-800-BOOTY focuses on dance-forward music such as Jersey Club, Voguing, Baile Funk or Footwork to name a few. By combining exciting and interactive scenography with MCs and performances such as striptease, visitors are sure to experience an unforgettable event.Banklaady, boss lady of Ratchet music. She makes the beats shake, the gloss pop, and with La Brigada, she's shaking up the game without asking for permissionRONI, the Parisian-Malaysian DJ, producer, and head of Nehza Records, will close out the night. Celebrating 20 Years of De Jeugd van TegenwoordigThis year marks two decades of Dutch hip-hop surrealists De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and we went all out to celebrate.On Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th, the OBEY Amsterdam store transformed into a De Jeugd pop-up: exclusive merch drops, reissued classics, and every record they’ve ever released, all on vinyl. And yes, De Jeugd themselves pulled up, and helped us hold it down.It was “gezellig”.The OBEY Art Space in Amsterdam will stay dedicated to all things De Jeugd in the coming weeks. Last Friday, 11PM Records, the North American hardcore label presented 'La Vie En Noir' a group show at OBEY ART SPACE Paris with Amy Dorian and Rob Roche, followed by a punk show the next night.Amy Dorian, an artist whose work confronts the tension between structure and chaos, beauty and distortion. Rooted in a punk ethos, her practice explores the aesthetics of rebellion, strength, and vulnerability through a deeply personal visual language. Rob Roche is a scene activist based in Nantes, known for tirelessly creating flyers for punk shows and everything that surrounds them. His graphic work—raw, intuitive, and unapologetically DIY—moves between analog and digital, blending collage, image reappropriation, and illustration.
