Emerging Artist Of The Week: WYLDR

Los Angeles-based WYLDR emerged earlier this year when singer-songwriter Will Winters joined forces with guitarist Taylor Van Ginkel and multi-instrumentalist Michael Matta. The trio’s single “Savage” is a uniquely spacious and electronic indie-rock tune. Blending massive soundscapes with feel good anthems and powerful chord progressions all backed with catchy vocal hooks make for an incredibly unique and powerful sound both live and on record. Other awesome tracks like “Captive” and “Everything’s A Dream” show off the bands ability to captivate their audience with builds that explode into beautifully nostalgic choruses leaving you with tears of joy. Fans of stadium worthy sound and performance need to get their hands on this band quick before it too late because i’m sure these guys are going to blow up the festival circuit real soon.

WYLDR is set to release their next upcoming EP titled “Gypsy Queen” this February. The band will also be performing at the end of this month, January 23rd, in downtown Los Angeles alongside performances by Obey faves King Shelter, Royaljag and Little Wolves.
