OBEY X RISK MURAL

Yesterday I met up with Shepard and Risk to hang out and get some shots of what is now the first legal mural after a 10-year banishment. They were issued “Permit #01” last Fall to put up a collaborative mural on the side of the Rossmore Hotel in Skid Row, which was coordinated between the nonprofit Skid Row Housing Trust and Daniel Lahoda’s LA Freewalls project. There are roughly 30 murals planned throughout the Los Angeles area from a variety of artists, so stay tuned.
