OBEY RECORDS EPISODE 74: LOWER TAR

Lower Tar is the experimental techno project started by Los Angeles-based musician and visual artist, Ori Ofir, and in 2022 Billy Garcia (DJ Angeldu$t, 138) joined the project. Formed in 2016, they’ve had releases on Ascetic House, DKA, Ecstatic Recordings, Public System Recordings, and Ofir’s own L.A.U.R.A. Recs. Lower Tar is a project that explores what it means to be critical of society while still maintaining a sense of self by mixing a range of techno, electro, post-punk, and noise.

This mix is a representation of everything Lower Tar was, is and will be. A true B2B between Ori and Billy creating an amalgamation of experimental, industrial, electro, and straight up techno.
