FAR BAZAAR 2017
Last weekend I attended FAR Bazaar 2017, a huge alternative art af(fair) and festival put on by the Cerritos College in partnership with the Foundation for Art Resources (FAR). The event was held in the college’s abandoned Fine Arts wing and featured installations from hundreds of local artists who transformed over 50 rooms, hallways, exteriors and the central courtyard. Since the building is scheduled for demolition sometime this week, the artists were able to actualize their deepest modernist impulses with their installs, performances and visualizations.
Congrats to the homies Devon Tsuno, Phil Nisco, Kristofferson San Pablo on the successful installation and restaurant pop-up!
Check some photos from FAR Bazaar below. I thought I shot way more but in retrospect I was just really high, taking mental pictures ::)
