Broken Fingaz & Journey Galactiko
Last Friday I joined the Ghostown Crew for their debut gallery show at Howard Griffin gallery. It was pretty exciting to see how well received they were in LA, being that they’re still pretty under the radar in the vast art multiverse. I’m slowly realizing that the more I do psychedelics, the more I find myself orbiting around like-minded people like Broken Fingaz. It’s quite the feeling walking into their constructed temple feeling slight claustrophobia but as the anxiety of bodies surrounds you the collage of works bring on an indescribable sense of enlightenment. The inspirations from India juxtaposed with their own graphic style and psychotropic advertising and type treatments is an extremely fresh perspective. Check out some photos from the event below
