OBEY FEATURE: AKWASI OWUSU

In a new feature, we wanted to take a look at Aksawí Owusu. You may recognize him as a model for OBEY for a few campaigns. Known well within the skateboarding community, Akwasí has been creating art and particularly a musical instrument known as the Kalimba, from which he is building out of old skateboards. He talks about balancing different passions and taking chances in everything you do. As he says, "Don’t sleep on your ideas!” We hope you enjoy.
