Karin Dreijer Andersson

Last night I made the drive out to Pomona to see one of my favorite Swedish lady – Fever Ray (formerly of The Knife). The show was AMAZING. The perfect storm of fog, eerie creep voices, lasers, dusty vintage lamps, and hairy beast hoods. Karin Dreijer Andersson’s voice is eerie and beautiful and her band makes amazing sounds with drum machines, drums, keyboards and guitars. Fever Ray is truly doing her own thing and the creativity of the band is so inspiring. Tonight they are playing at the Henry Fonda Theatre- the show is sold out- but get onto Craigslist today and do whatever you can to get a ticket! You won’t be sorry!
