Emerging Artist of the week: Them Howling Bones

Vaya con migo! Let me to introduce you to an incredibly driven DIY band that’s bringing true rock and roll back to LA, one party at a time. The band is called Them Howling Bones. Straight out of East LA, THB is fronted by singer/artist/entrepreneur Pedro Torres and is accompanied by long time friends Mitch Micoley (Guitar), Armando Lopez Jr. (Bass), and Mark Fallavollita (Drums). For the last couple years, we’ve seen their name pop up again and again playing just about every legit venue in LA and OC that you can imagine. They’ve opened for awesome acts like together PANGEA and Plague Vendor, played countless parties with East LA’s own L.A. Witch and Santoros, played last year’s Echo Park Rising Music Festival, and have even curated their own month long residency at an exclusive “speak easy” in Hollywood called Harvard and Stone. Now, returning from a full U.S. tour, the band has released a new tune called “Say Goodbye” which will be on their upcoming EP titled “Dolores”. You can also catch the band perform live this month at The Observatory’s Beach Goth 4 music festival in Orange County hosted by one of my all time favorite California band’s The Growlers. THB will be performing on Saturday the 24th at 1pm. In the meantime check out their new single and follow them on their socials for more news and new music.
