Tell us a little bit about yourself. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I speak to my parents and sister in Switzerland almost daily and my favorite animal is a deer. I was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland and moved to New York four years ago to study Graphic Design at SVA (School of Visual Arts). After graduating last summer I started working as an Art Director for The New York Times while maintaining freelance work on the side.
What do you miss about home? Aside from the obvious (family and friends), I miss little things like Swiss toothpaste and chocolates. I miss spending summer by the lake in Zurich and riding my bike around the city. I miss environmental things, like breathing that fresh alpine air and the availability of affordable wholesome, fresh foods.
What do you like most about living in NYC? The accessibility of everything...bars, restaurants, museums--just the culture that constantly surrounds you. There is a constant feeling here, that anything is possible, and everything is at your fingertips.
