Last Friday, we celebrated one last party at The Crosby for OBEY Radio's weekly residency which lasted for three and a half years. We're not at all going away.. just going global! Please make sure you check back to see OBEY Radio in your hood! We are finally ready to release a 4 part series we made on the trip Shepard and the OBEY crew took to Copenhagen, Denmark in August for Shepard's show at V1 Gallery. A lot of stuff happened during this trip that was talked about all over the media. The videos cover the installations done around Copenhagen, the show itself and afterparty as well as all of the drama in between. We are releasing Part 1 today but stayed tuned in the coming weeks for the the rest of the videos.

Over the past weekend I rented the Hasselblad 500 and shot with 120 color & black and white film.. I've only shot with 35mm growing up, so this is a whole new world.. No manual, just grabbed it and went to town!! All in all I think I did alright, except after I was done with a role I didn't know to make sure the flap needed to be taped down, so a couple roles had some pretty bad light leaks... I kind of dig it - no instagram crap for me!!!!

Last Month, Vanski Transki posted BLANDA's NYC opening for her OBEY Collection launch. Blanda continued the party in her hometown of Zurich Switzerland. With the help of our Swiss Posse, some old friends, and of course, Blanda... The party popped off.. With tunes blaring, the alcohol spilling, and people just having a grand ol' time. "This past Saturday, on Oct 8th, we celebrated the Swiss release of the Blanda for OBEY artist series collaboration at it-spot Gonzo in Zurich. It turned out to be one of those rare nights everyone kept buzzing about for days. We were dancing to beats by Nadeeya, Kutmah, David Suivez and Ngoc Lan into the early morning hours. I live about 50 yards from there, so it's pretty trippy to think my home is now next to the biggest massacre in Orange County history. Very sad, people are fucked up in the world! I don't understand it, I don't think I ever will...

Sat in traffic for about an hour on the way home from work last night. Finally made it home, ate some pizza, slammed a beer then I packed up my gear, grabbed some more beers and hit the road to do some night shooting down by the marina.
as I was taking this shot, I saw a little pepe la pew fucker running around the parking lot behind me so I thought, hey lets try and get all nat geo and get some Shunk shots.. Didnt turn out how I planned!! I chased him around bushes, cars, trees, everywhere! There were people leaving the restaurant looking at me like im some crazy loony bin chasing a shunk around trying to get a photo at 10pm hahahha... I finally got him cornered and was going in for the shot and that little shit turned and sprayed!!.. I was lucky enough to turn just a bit, so I only got hit a tiny bit on my elbow. After all that and I still wasn't able to get a decent photo of him! at least it was fun!
