Just wanted to share a little inspiration from one of my favorite inspirational blogs www.apatchofsky.com... she has the most beautiful imagery. I guess you could say these hazy night sky images mixed with psychedelic dreams of what the 70's would have been like inspired my capsule collection for OBEY.
IT'S ON THE HORIZON// Limited Edition OBEY + CATBREATH. CRYSTAL DYED mini skirts, leggings and a mini dress will be dropping on the web-store mid November. While I was at the press event with the OBEY team in September I had a sneak peak at some of their upcoming items and paired a few of my favorite OBEY women's items with mine! Â Love it. So watch out and breath the breath of the cat... XX

Happy Friday// Enjoy the sounds of BROOKLYN'S TELEPATHE. I wanted to share with you my absolute favorite song of theirs called  "Lights Go Down" but I could not find on you tube... check it out though, its perfectly ghoulish. Makes you want to throw on a cape and trek through the streets causing mischief... then do a little dance.

We've been wandering the streets of New York for the last few days getting ready for our release with Levi's tonight at their flagship store in Times Square. Â We didn't get down there last night but word was kids were camping out. It's so crazy to see the Levis x Obey icon among all those giant billboards and masses of people walking by. Today we got a chance to roll by the store and here's a few pics. Stay tuned for the time lapse of tonight's activities.

If you haven't heard by now, we will be releasing a small collection with Levi's this Thursday. The capsule consists of 8 pieces, two trucker jackets, 2 pairs of denim (a 511 and a 514), a flannel work shirt and 3-shirts. There will also be a poster set floating around as well.Â
On Thursday evening the collection will be released at the Levi's store at Times Square in NY. Shepard will be doing a live install from 7-10 pm and then doing a signing afterwards. We are very proud to be working with such an iconic and legendary brand and feel the finished product is a great mix of classic Levi's mixed with the feel of Shepard and OBEY. Â Here's what the collection looks like.
A small quantity of each style will be available in our webstore sometime next week.
Put on your dancy pants... here come The Sounds and Shiny Toy Guns! Friday night at HOB in San Diego The Sounds and Shiny Toys Guns rocked the stage with tons of energy. If you weren't dancing at the show then you should have your Doc check you out cause there is something wrong.

Last Wednesday, Chris Alfaro (Free The Robots), CJ Parel and I were able to pry ourselves out of the office to celebrate the three years Low End Theory LA's been in existence. Congrats to everybody behind LET; Daddy Kev, D-Styles, DJ Nobody, Gaslamp Killer, Nocando, Edit, Marcus, and the kids in LA who've supported all these years! Our friends at LA Record got a post up on their site [HERE], unearthed an interview with Daddy Kev back in October 2006 and gathered all the LET podcasts released to date (below) for everybody to enjoy.

Wanted to post a few pics from the show in Pittsburgh, the friendliest city in America. I thought the show was great. It seems so weird to see Shepard's work outside of a small local gallery setting. When you see 20 years of prints and stickers and fine art on the walls of a big ass museum it's pretty impressive. So many crazy memories come flashing back from the first time I saw that Andre the Giant Has A Posse sticker probably in the Poconos or Philly in the early 90's to the stuff that used to get printed down at my first home in LA, the 6th street warehouse.
We had the opportunity to go through the museum before it opened and Jon was allowed to photograph the show. Here are a few photos from the night.

Simple repetition. Always a personal favorite. Still feels super raw.

The infamous.Â

Media circus.

This one is pretty big.

Should've gotten so many of these when they came out. Doh!

Live from SHOREDITCH LONDON.... Obey at club THREES in the borough of Hackney, one of those gentrified outer city limit neighborhoods. Also, here is a preview of the limited edition OBEY + CATBREATH "LONG DAYS, LONGER NIGHTS" t-shirt. The original photo from the bridge was taken by Obey's lovely Erin Wignall (women's designer) and I from under the Brooklyn Bridge aboard the DFA records Disco Boat Party this past summer here in NY. Radness for all. xx

The good lord must be looking out for us because the weather is beautiful here in Pittsburgh. A balmy 40 degrees with rain! Doesn't make for the best pasting conditions but it hasn't stopped Shep and the fellows. We caught up yesterday on the roof of the Warhol. They were having a hell of a time putting up an Andy Icon face with the rain and wind. That seemed to be the story of the day as we went from spot to spot.
Shep drying out for a minute after regulating his blood sugar.
Our host with the most Jen borrowed her mom's van and took us around to all the spots Shep hit since August. We only got through a few because she finally got a call about access to a rooftop that overlooked the freeway and pretty much the whole city. We went to scope it out and as expected it was super sketchy and I was sure there were tons on creepers living in the building. More on that in a minute. Here's some of those installs around the city.
After a Yuengling and Primanti Brothers sandwich we hit that old factory up. Took us probably a good 30-40minutes to navigate to the roof. The stairwells were super narrow and steep, covered in dust and 10 kinds of funk. A few of us would go up at a time to try to find an access point to the roof, it wasn't a straight shot up on one stairwell.
When we finally hit the roof this was the view.
Thankfully the rain mellowed out and we found another ladder in the building to help get a big old 16 foot Icon Face up.
Happy happy, joy joy!
That was yesterday and today's today. We're about to hit the streets again. More updates to follow.

Brand new video on the recent Amsterdam-London-Paris trip with the OBEY Crew. A big thanks to Sebas, Simon, Pierre, Brian, Furburgs, Nick, Z, Me and especially you for helping out. We love Europe!
Now it's time for this week's party schedule.

Make sure you eat something before you go out, or end up being this jakey-ass:
Off to Pittsburgh tomorrow for Shepard's show at the Warhol Museum. Never been to this museum but my Pittsburgh friends say they have crazy shows here so I'm looking forward to it. Gotta check out some Frank Lloyd Wright stuff and Warhola Scrap Yard when I'm there. Can't wait to get a pint of Yuengling too, I know it's not that good but I miss it. Come on California, do I need to make Smokey & the Bandit 3 to get me some Yuengling out here? Â
Before I hit road I wanted to put the word out that the Halloween "Graveyard Shift" Glow in The Dark shirts will be available on shop.obeyclothing.com first thing tomorrow. Super limited in quantity so I suggest you order tomorrow if you want one.
Â
Â
Also, commemorating Shepard's show at the Warhol we will be offering the shirt that's going to be sold at the museum in our webstore. On the back (not shown), there is a small screen of the Supply and Demand crest just below the collar. These will be available tomorrow too with additional views of the shirt.
Â
Our Southeast Rep is doing a Grind for Life benefit down in Altanta on October 23rd. Gonna be a good time and free beer! If you're in the area please come out and support. Also, please help spread the word.
